Stoney Creek Cottage is a mid 1800 newly renovated stone accommodation, boasting rural views, vaulted ceilings, a breakfast alfresco, ensuite with double shower and gum tree views, a romantic outdoor bath, kitchenette, and all the privacy in the world. Stay for a weekend getaway or as an addition to your function. Accommodating two, our cosy cottage is perfect to spend the night before or after your wedding. Additional bedding can also be provided for other guests such as bridal parties or children at an additional cost and must be arranged in advance.
Stoney Creek Estate was first settled by Stephen Hall in 1857 and the cottage was built during this time homing Stephen, his wife Jane and 14 children. Stephen was a stagecoach driver, farmer and publican who owned both the Robin Hood Hotel and the Commercial Hotel in Strathalbyn.
