Jordy and I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to you for all your organising and hard work, as well as to the rest of the team for all the time and effort put in. We absolutely loved having our wedding there and we are so so grateful for how easy and smooth it all ran and was organised. All our guests were blown away with how beautiful the venue is and we can’t wait to stay in the Airbnb sometime to come back! Thanks so much again, can’t wait to see all the other amazing weddings to come at Stoney Creek!

We greatly enjoyed our time at Stoney Creek Estate and so did our guests. We appreciated your prompt communication in the leadup and availability on the day to help sort out a couple of things. It was a big help to be able to access things like the wine glasses, vases and signing table/chairs from your hire range. The bride and groom had a truly magical and wonderful day.

Safe to say this venue is the Adelaide Hills best kept secret & it was the perfect spot to throw our surprise wedding!
It’s the full package – you’ll be spoilt for ceremony location choices, the ‘barn’ is stunning from every angle and our reception/cocktail party was beautiful, onsite accommodation for the bride and groom is stunning (with an outdoor bath – what more could you want?!) and picture perfect for all those wedding photographs you dreamed of!
I can’t speak highly enough of Lara & Sheryl at Stoney Creek Estate; nothing was ever a trouble and they were always one step ahead – thank you ladies!!
Don’t hesitate and book in a time to view, you won’t be disappointed… but just prepare to fall in love!

Stoney Creek Estate is such a perfect venue for a rustic Australian wedding. It was great to be able to have the ceremony and reception all at the same location and to have a dry hire venue that allowed the freedom for our own caterer, bar and decor. Lara was such a huge help leading up to the wedding and on the day. We are so happy to have hired her as our on day coordinator as she kept things running smoothly in the background and thought of so many things I hadn’t.
The cottage onsite is also amazing, it was so good to be able to retreat there after the wedding was over, not having to worry about getting to any accommodation. It is also great for guests to be so close to Strathalbyn town centre, with many options for accommodation at the local hotels.
We can’t wait to come back and stay at the lovely cottage in the future, to celebrate anniversaries.

Stoney Creek Estate was the most perfect little venue for our wedding. We loved how relaxed the venue is, and it was a blank canvas we were able to turn into our own. Our ceremony was held under the big gum trees, which gave a relaxed country feel that we wanted. Lara, Sheryl, Wayne and Bear the dog were all so wonderful to work with, and were helpful throughout the whole process. Thank you Stoney Creek, you were perfect!

Massive thank you to Lara, Sheryl, and Wayne. Alex (our photographer) told me the other day that our pizza supplier tried to back out when the fire ban was announced and that Wayne and Sheryl stepped in to ensure we were all fed. I'm so grateful for this, it truly shows that you care about supplying a fantastic wedding. It all went so well, even the weather was much more tame than we thought.

Stoney Creek Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding, and I can't recommend it highly enough! We were fortunate to stay in the beautiful cottage both the night before and the night of our big day. The cottage itself was charming and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat in the lead-up to the wedding. One of the highlights was the thoughtful touch of supplying carrots for us to feed the horses and pony on the estate. It was a delightful way to connect with the venue's lovely animals and added a unique, personal touch to our experience.
The newly built-in bar was another standout feature. Stylish yet incredibly practical, it blended seamlessly with the overall aesthetic of the venue. It added a touch of elegance to our celebration while being functional for our needs. The different styles of lighting available were fantastic, and the additional fairy lights they provided really saved us from having to do more DIY. The venue's attention to detail in the lighting created a magical atmosphere that perfectly complemented the mood of our wedding. Overall, Stoney Creek Estate exceeded our expectations in every way. From the cozy accommodations to the beautiful venue features and the extra touches like the fairy lights, every aspect contributed to a memorable and enchanting day. Absolutely loved Stoney Creek Estate for my birthday. It was great that it was a do it yourself venue that had the venue and toilets already there. Everyone that attended asked how I found the venue because they loved it. Lara was very accommodating in letting us visit prior to the day and for arranging set up. It was an amazing night with the added bonus of accommodation only a short walk away. Thanks SCE!

We just wanted to thank you for being the best wedding venue/hosts we could have dreamed of! You were all great in the lead up to the big day and even more amazing on the weekend of the wedding.
You made us feel very welcome in your space, were so accomodating and put us at ease on what was a semi stressful few days!
We feel so blessed to have had such genuinely good people to work with. We are particularly grateful for how you so kindly looked out for Winston and Wayne’s patience with the VW for our photos which I’m sure will be awesome.
The whole property and facilities are amazing and all our guests commented that it was one of the best venues they have been to.

Our wedding at Stoney Creek Estate was a dream come true. The ceremony under the towering gum trees felt like something out of a fairy-tale, and the rustic barn provided the perfect backdrop for our reception. We loved that we could stay onsite in the cosy cottage, and having the venue for the whole weekend made everything feel relaxed and stress-free. Opting for dry hire gave us the freedom to personalise every aspect, from the food to the drinks.
The venue's team was incredibly helpful, prompt in responding to questions and available to help if needed. The tidy, rustic feel added to the charm, and our guests couldn't stop raving
about the beautiful setting.

Stoney Creek Estate was the perfect wedding venue for us! We wanted a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful scenery for our photos and for wedding guests to enjoy and SCE delivered! The whole process with SCE was so easy and stress free. We spent 3 nights in the beautiful cottage to make our wedding a little get away. We loved the ease of using SCE’s well-equipped facilities and hire range as it meant little set up and pack up making the whole experience stress free and enjoyable.

The icing on the cake was how lovely, welcoming, flexible, generous and kind Sheryl, Wayne and Lara were throughout the whole process. Not once did we stress about the venue choice or the hire furniture/items as Stoney Creek Estate had it all covered. Every guest commented on the absolutely stunning venue for both the ceremony and reception. We loved Stoney Creek Estate for our wedding venue! It was the perfect setting for our perfect day. This venue was magical, the owners and event manager are so easy to deal with and so incredibly lovely. They go above and beyond to ensure the bride and groom have a great day. We absolutely loved having our Wedding at Stoney Creek Estate. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue for the next event or wedding. Even though they do weddings all the time I was still made to feel like I was their only client.

Absolutely beautiful place, a real hidden gem! Sheryl & Wayne and Lara are so accommodating and so lovely to deal with, they are really relaxed and happy to accommodate and help however they can. They helped make our day so special and have been a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. The Estate is stunning and you are spoilt with choices for photos!
The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable and it was amazing that we were able to have our two dogs stay with us too.

Amazing place for a wedding! Getting married in the olive grove was truly magical and then having the reception in the barn was such a great place, lots of room for people to sit and also plenty of room for a dance floor. Our wedding at Stoney Creek Estate was nothing short of perfect! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful — every corner was so photogenic and made for the most stunning backdrop.

We had our 10-year anniversary at Stoney Creek Estate on the last weekend in August and it was amazing! The freezing weather meant we set up the whole thing in the barn, which actually turned out even better than planned and was spacious, warm and cosy.
Sheryl was fantastic to deal with and made everything stress free, including coordinating with caterers for set up locations etc. Lara was also great to deal with via email to organise the venue. They have such a great range of furniture and decorations available to hire, which made it really budget friendly. Couldn’t recommend this venue more, it was beautiful and perfect for our day! Thank you again for everything Lara and Sheryl. The whole day was so amazing and you were so great to deal with to organise everything!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, truly going above and beyond to make us feel at ease.
